Principal - Heidi Karst

Welcome to Stony Creek Elementary School!   I have been the principal here since 2007, and before coming to Stony I had been a second and third grade teacher, the NHS girls athletic director, and a middle and high school assistant principal.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University - Boiler Up! My Master's is from Indiana University, and my administrative licensure program was completed at Indiana Wesleyan University.  My husband is a high school math teacher, and my two daughters graduated from Noblesville Schools.   

At SCE pride ourselves in being a family within the building, and a home away from home for all of us who are at Stony Creek daily.  Stony Creek Elementary has students as young as 3 years old in Early Childhood programs, then going all the way up to our 5th grade leaders.  The staff offers students a variety of activities and clubs after school throughout the year to help them enrich their learning.  Our staff also encourages students to take risks in their learning, and to be leaders both in and out of the classroom.  We welcome volunteers, and hope that families will come spend time at Stony Creek, where we are learning every day, and growing in every way!
