We encourage family members to come visit often. We have volunteer opportunities that range from once a year to once a week, and we will tailor them to meet your comfort level. Our PTO meetings are every other month, and there are so many ways you can support their efforts. We have two primary fundraisers each year through our PTO. In October we have the Mustang Stampede (exercise with sponsors), and in May we have our Family Carnival Night. These large events along with book fairs, Market Day, Family Spirit Nights at local businesses and various other activities will provide Stony Creek with needed student and teacher materials throughout the year.
We encourage communication with our staff and parents. Please be sure to ask questions when you have them. If you do not hear back within the next school day from a staff member you have tried to communicate with, please contact me directly to help you out. We will only have one official Parent-Teacher conference time this year, so please try to come in during the October 13 or 15 openings that will be scheduled with your child’s teacher.
As we continue to build upon our year long theme: Celebrate Stony Creek, Celebrate You, we will learn about where we are from around the world. We will embrace our differences and unique qualities as we come together as one big family at Stony Creek! Come celebrate with us at Stony Creek this school year!
